Duties/Responsibilities: Performed duties as a Systems Engineer.

Responsibilities included:

·   Supported the SETA contract under Project Manager Power Projection Enablers (PM P2E) at Wheeler Army Airfield, HI.

·   Performed site surveys for Facilities Site Preparation, Outside Plant (OSP), Inside Plant (ISP) telecommunications systems engineering and design activities to translate functional requirements and performance objectives into a Systems Requirement Document (SRD) and List of Materials for the Acquisition package to go forward for proposal.

·   Surveyed and evaluated information systems equipment currently in use, to determine if the equipment and infrastructure are within the Department of Defense and private industry standards.

·   Provided the IPT lead with engineering support both in the survey phase as well as the production phase.

·   Provided complete systems requirements solutions, from providing high level detail designs of fiber optic cables, copper cables, manholes, conduit, equipment racks, electrical systems and building facilities to house data and telephone equipment in accordance with the Unified capabilities Framework 2013, Outside Plant Design and Performance (OSPDPR) Feb 09, I3A Technical Criteria FEB 2010 and other Department of the Army and Industry standards.

Engineering Review Team Lead for the Pacific Theater (May 2013 - November 2013): Participated in the SETA contract under PM P2E at Fort Belvoir, VA.

Responsibilities included:

·   Served as the Engineering Review Team (ERT) Lead for all PM P2E projects in the Pacific.

·   Performing reviews of all Facilities Site Preparation, OSP, ISP and all portions of the SRD to ensure that the documentation remained within the Department of the Army and Industry telecommunications and electrical standards.

Senior OSP/ISP and Site Prep Engineer: Participated in the Infrastructure and Modernization Program (I3MP) TEIS III contract under USAISEC-FDED at Ft. Detrick, MD.

Responsibilities included:

·   Performed site surveys, systems engineering and design activities to translate functional requirements and performance objectives into design criteria and specifications.

·   Surveyed and evaluated information systems equipment currently in use within the DoD.

·   Designed Facilities Site Preparation, OSP, ISP telecommunications systems for the ISEC at several bases within CONUS.

·   Provided complete engineering solutions, from providing high level detail designs of fiber optic cables, copper cables, manholes, conduit, equipment racks, electrical systems and building facilities to house data and telephone equipment in accordance with I3MP standards.

·   Assessed evolving user needs, translated those needs into network changes through network reconfiguration, OSP, ISP and Site Facility requirements, acquisitions, installation and testing.

·   Designed high level detail designs of inside plant networks that show the existing network design, the new upgraded network design with the equipment required to elevate these networks to meet or exceed the new I3MP requirements and the AutoCAD Drawings to show these changes.

Senior OSP/ISP Engineer: Designed OSP, ISP and Site Preparation for strategic communications systems for the U.S. Army PM P2E in South West Asia.

Responsibilities included:

·   Provided complete engineering solutions, from providing high level detail designs of both copper and fiber optic cables, manholes, conduit, aerial plant structures, and facilities in accordance with the I3MP standards and practices.

·   Analyzed and tracked requirements, provided Subject Matter Expertise input to help identify engineering requirements, defining the scope for these requirements, and overseeing specific engineering deliverables to transform core requirements into projects.

·   Performed the initial review and analysis of all Project Overview Statements (POS) received from customers, analyzing the relevance of requirements contained in the POS in order to make recommendations if new or modified capabilities need to be developed and implemented.

·   Performed the QA/QC of engineering packages in addition to QA/QC on the construction of OSP and ISP on U.S. Military bases throughout Afghanistan.

·   Performed project management along with providing cost estimates, developing work scheduled and team development.

European/Middle East Region Business Development Manager: Delegated and was accountable for the startup of the European Branch office and served as the European/ Middle East Region Business Development Manager.

Responsibilities included:

·   Served as the Business Development expert for accounts within U.S. Army, Air Force, and other DoD Agencies in the European and Middle Eastern Regions.

·   Initiated customer meetings with 50% being new customer meetings and product demonstrations.

·   Participated in trade shows and technical shows.

·   Created and presented engineer and installation presentations to executive level, end-users, security partners, peers, and potential customers.

·   Developed both regions (European/ Middle East) with no assistance by generating my own leads through research, my existing contacts, and cold calls.

·   Trained and certified DoD and Integrator personnel in engineering and most importantly the proper way to install the product to meet and/or exceed the DoD standards for security of classified horizontal cabling infrastructure.
